June 2006 was the first time Dekalb County experienced the Orange Peel Gazette. It began small but grew very quickly and became very popular among loyal readers. Janet Larsen and her family operated it for nearly 10 years and built the publication into a county favorite!
In January 2016, Tim and Bobbi Hays bought the Orange Peel Gazette Dekalb County from Janet and began their adventure in the advertising business. With a passion for serving others and giving back to the community they are working hard to make the Orange Peel Gazette even better with a strong, loyal readership and very happy advertisers!
The advertisements in the Orange Peel Gazette Dekalb County Edition are framed with humorous jokes and stories to entertain the reader. These advertisements ‘catch the eye’ of people in all walks of life; humor is a great equalizer.
Our ads are among the most reasonably priced in the area and our paper is delivered twice a month to over 270 establishments within the entire county! Our distribution is constantly growing, with new businesses being added regularly. Our paper, unlike many others is not quickly discarded, but due to its content, is shared with friends and colleagues.
